One of our Year 10 musicians Rosalind Fearnehough has just become the first ever S. Peter’s student to perform at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in Soho, London.
Following her love for Big Band music and Jazz, Rosalind, along with a number of other Year 10 musicians took the initiative to apply to the Ronnie Scott’s ‘Big Band in a Day’ project where musicians from across the country are given the opportunity to work with professional musicians inside the club itself.
Rosalind, whose trombone tutor Mr Ian Brailsford also teaches horn, euphonium and tuba  at S. Peter’s says he is immensely proud of Rosalind’s achievement.
Rosalind is also a member of the Wolverhampton Youth Wind Orchestra and S. Peter’s Collegiate School Big Band and is due to take her Grade 8 trombone exam later this year.
S. Peter’s Collegiate School Music Department are also very proud of Rosalind and her achievements.
