The Concert Band & Senior Choir are in the final stages of preparing for their forthcoming ten day long concert tour in America.

The band and choir will be performing concerts in New York, Boston and the surrounding areas.

Their first performance will be a concert at St Paul’s Chapel, Lower Manhattan. This is the oldest religious building in Manhattan and was used as a base by the Firefighters following the terrorist attacks on the World trade Centre. Since then it has become a memorial Chapel to all those that died in the attacks.

After three nights in new York we will move to Chelmsford Massachusetts and be hosted by families from the church of All Saint’s Chelmsford. This will be the fourth time the Church have hosted us and we are very much looking forward to visiting them once more.
